Using this site

Estimate My Refund provides free 2026 tax calculators -- a federal tax and refund estimator, a tax bracket calculator, a sales tax calculator, a self-employment tax calculator, a capital gains tax calculator, a property tax calculator, a quarterly estimated tax calculator, and a bonus (supplemental wage) tax calculator -- for educational and informational use. No account or sign-up is required, and there is no charge to use any page on this site.

Not tax, financial or legal advice

The calculations on this site use standard, published IRS formulas, published Revenue Procedure figures, and third-party state-level rate tables, not original research or a substitute for advice from a licensed tax preparer, CPA, enrolled agent or attorney. Real tax situations vary by state, local jurisdiction, filing details, credits, deductions and individual circumstances this tool doesn't model, and every figure shown is an estimate before any of that. Nothing on this site is a recommendation about how to file, what to withhold, or what estimated payment to send. Federal bracket thresholds, the standard deduction, the Child Tax Credit, capital gains thresholds, the Social Security wage base, and state sales and property tax rates are stated as of this site's last update and may change -- always verify current figures against the IRS or your state's revenue department, linked from the relevant page, before relying on them.
